Frontier Donates to Local FFA Chapter Grants

(Lincoln, Neb.) ­–Frontier Cooperative has donated to the Nebraska FFA Foundation to directly support local FFA chapter needs.
 
Beginning January 1, Nebraska FFA chapters within the Frontier Cooperative trade area had the opportunity to submit an application request for funding up to $3,000 for programs, activities, and projects that promote ag education and chapter development. Funding requests were reviewed by Frontier Cooperative staff and managed by the Nebraska FFA Foundation.

Frontier Cooperative is pleased to announce that a total of 22 chapters submitted grant application submissions. A total of 13 FFA chapters received a grant, including Ashland-Greenwood, Auburn, Bishop Neumann, Conestoga, East Butler, Johnson County Central, Lakeview, Mead, Nebraska City, North Bend Central, Palmyra, The Career Academy-Lincoln and Waverly.
 
Frontier Cooperative Chief Executive Officer Jeremy Wilhelm said, “We are proud to support these chapters and the young men and women who have an interest in agriculture. It is a small way that we can give back to the communities that support Frontier Cooperative and a way to support the future of agriculture.”
