Frontier offers scholarships to support students pursuing a career in agriculture.
Frontier Cooperative Scholarship
The Program – Frontier Cooperative is offering a scholarship for a student entering a college or technical school to further his or her education in agricultural related studies.
Eligibility – The Frontier Cooperative Scholarship will be awarded to a son/daughter of a parent/legal guardian who is an active stock-holder of Frontier Cooperative as defined by the Articles and By-laws of this association. The scholarship recipient’s family must do a minimum of $5,000 in business with the Coop during the year.
Recipient must be accepted as a student in a college or technical school majoring in agricultural related studies as determined by that school and upon completion of the first semester of school, the recipient will receive up to $1,000.
Recipient must have demonstrated academic excellence and must also rank in the top one-half of his/her class.
Selection – The Frontier Cooperative Board of Directors will select the recipients based on the criteria established.
Interested in joining the Frontier Youth Advisory Council?
For one year, beginning after scholarship approval, Council members will participate in a variety of events alongside our team, including parades, county fairs, career fairs, classroom visits, and other community activities. Members will also collaborate with Frontier’s recruitment team to enhance and support youth-focused outreach efforts.

NEBRASKA COOPERATIVE COUNCIL
Education Foundation SCHOLARSHIPs
The Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation (NCCEF) provides scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year to students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK).
The scholarship program was initiated with the 1993/94 and since then has provided 262 scholarships totaling $401,200 to students.
Scholarship committees at UNL, NCTA, and UNK make the selection of recipients based on criteria established for each scholarship. The Foundation only verifies local cooperative affiliation and Council membership requirements.
Each scholarship has unique qualifications, which are detailed on the application forms for each. Individuals need to complete an application online and submit it electronically to UNL, NCTA or UNK by April 15, 2026. Learn more and apply through the Council’s website at:
